The price paid by poor communities with no access to safe water is huge. Wasted income, lost time and ill-health all have a devastating impact on families. Children in particular suffer, with water-borne diseases being one of the biggest killers of children worldwide.
Tackling the shortages of clean water around the World remains a big challenge.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “The best charity is giving water to drink” and he was the most generous in giving charity. Access to clean water is a human right.

UC3 aim to provide clean drinking water to the most deprived area’s of Gambia.

£400 for a water well serving a small community

£2,500 Community bore hole – serving up to 500 people

You can add any amount from as little as £10 to the general Water well protect, each time we reach the amount for a bore hole or a water well. UC3 will start construction.

Personalised Plaques can be placed on the Wells upon request from the donor. And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When a person dies, all his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, or beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who will pray for him.”
